AHF Partners with CoRDS to Expand Rare Diseases Registry to LATAM
In February, AHF attended the Sanford Rare Disease Symposium hosted by Sanford Research and the Coordination of Rare Diseases at Sanford (CoRDS) to raise awareness of the importance of rare disease research and provide information to scientists and healthcare providers.
The CoRDS registry, established in 2010, is a centralized international patient registry for all rare diseases that aims to connect as many patients and researchers as possible to help advance treatments and cures for rare diseases. AHF has received an initial seed grant from Sanford Rearch toward expanding the CoRDS rare disease registry to Latin America.
The expansion of CoRDS within Latin America, will open up new partnerships with patient advocacy organizations and allow individuals in the region with rare diseases the opportunity to participate in a rare disease registry and acess the registry services. AHF is currently seeking potential funders that share our vision of expanding the rare disease registry to LATAM. For more information please contact email@example.com.
